Barrier Coating
In collaboration with the Institute of Material Research, Piaget Chemicals and Manufacturing Pte Ltd has developed a water-based coating that can be applied on various plastic film to create a high barrier to oxygen. The high performance substrate rivals aluminum in barrier properties and is transparent. This product enables the preservation of food, pharmaceuticals and electronics.
